The primary objective is to promote advancement in cancer care in Asia primarily in Malaysia by preparing a multi-disciplinary platform form knowledge update based on evidence-based Medicine. In 2016\, the symposium attracted 320 delegates from 16 countries and the successful abstracts were published in conference proceedings in Journal of Physics. \nThe 2nd AMDI International Oncology & Medical Physics Symposium 2019 aims to continue the multi-disciplinary theme by expanding the cohort of delegates to include not just oncologists\, physicians\, surgeons and physicists\, but also cancer scientists and allied health professionals.
